During this time of year, it is important to remember and be thankful for the friendships that we have within the Friendship Village Community.
Once again, we will be preparing Thanksgiving baskets filled with items to prepare a Thanksgiving Dinner (the number of baskets will depend on the amount of items given). These baskets will contain food to allow a family to have a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. We are asking for staff to nominate employees who are having a tough time this year and may need a little extra help to give their family a Thanksgiving dinner this year.
Nomination cards will be available at the front desk. Please turn in your nominations by Monday, November 25th. Those employees who are selected to receive a basket will be kept confidential. We want to be able to help a member of our Friendship Village family who is in need, so, please help us help others.
We will be accepting donations of canned goods and non-perishable items at the front office. Donations/contributions can come in many forms such as: canned goods, flour, sugar, pumpkin, pie crusts, cranberry sauce, soup, stuffing and potatoes. Each basket will be provided with a turkey or ham. Please drop off your donations at the front desk. We will be accepting donations through Monday, November 25th.
Thank you for your continued support of this Friendship Village tradition!
